This issue has been a thorn in my side for a while,please if you go outside to smoke it is not ok to prop the door open with anything(shoes,sandals,wood chocks,chairs or anything else)we are trying to keep our lodge safe and not to mention the utility bills are skyrocketing.It is a Moose International Rule that the doors be secure at all times.we are working on updating the card reader at the main door and possibly adding one to the rear door to alleviate this problem,so if your a good member and see the doors propped open please shut them,Thanks,Board Of Officers

Hello to all,I would like to clarify a few things about our meetings.Everybody seems to not know the times of the meetings or gets them confused.House Comittee runs from 6-6:30pm and is closed to membership,Board Of Officers runs from 6:30-7:30pm and is closed to membership,members meeting starts at 7:30pm.We strongly urge you to attend the meeting of your Lodge and listen and make suggestions about issues you might have.Please do not hold anything against your current officers that may or may no have happen before,too many people live in the past and we are not trying to pull the wool over your eyes.We have a good group of guys on the board now and we talk about things rationally and don't get attitudes with anybody,so at least come out and try it one time,we'll be happy to see you,Fraternally Yours,Ernie

I would like to thank everyone that helped make our 1st poker run a success.We had 36 people ride along and all stayed together which made the run go so much smoother.Also Thanks to the business owners of Toots,Mechanicsville Moose,Apehangers,Blue Dog and of course our own Waldorf Moose which co hosted the run,benefits from this will be given to Betty Garner to help with medical expenses.We are going to have another one on Oct,18 so keep checking the website and lodge for details.

First and foremost I would like to Thank Fred Wedding for stepping up to bat and straightening out a mess we had in the new smoking area/deck.He brought his equipment,men,supplies in and fixed it all for us at cost.It was a lot of work but he made it look easy and did it very quickly,so there again Fred we appreciate all that you did for us and the lodge,A true Member.
